Jansen Petroleum Services

Fuel Tank Cleaning, Testing & Pump Services That Protect Your Operation.

Jansen Petroleum Services provides Vacu-Trawl tank cleaning, fuel contamination checks and filtration, Vacusonic and pressure testing, pump repairs and calibration, filtration-system maintenance, and tank commissioning support for businesses that depend on stored fuel.

HOW WE APPROACH THE SYSTEM

One Fuel Storage System. Multiple Failure Points.

A contaminated tank can compromise every new fuel delivery. Restricted filters can reduce flow, while pumps and meters may continue operating inaccurately. Tanks and pipework may also show no obvious external damage even when an integrity concern exists.

JPS assesses the tank, fuel, pumps, filtration, breathers, manholes and pipework as one connected system to identify where the risk begins and what should be addressed.

When Our Team Is Called In

These are common warning signs that a fuel-storage system requires professional attention.

Water, Sludge Or Unusual Fuel Appearance

May indicate water ingress, sediment, rust, suspended contamination or microbial activity inside the storage system.

Poor Fuel Flow Or Recurring Blocked Filters

May point to contaminated fuel, neglected strainers or an underlying tank-condition problem.

Pump Accuracy Or Dispensing Concerns

Pumps, meters, hoses and nozzles may require inspection, repairs, replacement or calibration.

Suspected Leaks Or Unexplained Fuel Loss

Vacusonic or pressure testing can help assess tank and line integrity before commissioning, recommissioning or further operation.

SERVICE 1

Vacu-Trawl Fuel Tank Cleaning

Stored fuel is only as clean as the tank holding it. Water, sludge, sediment, rust and microbial growth can accumulate internally, exposing existing fuel and every new delivery to contamination.

JPS uses the Vacu-Trawl cleaning process to remove accumulated water, sludge, rust and unwanted material from fuel-storage tanks while the fuel remains in place. This provides a practical cleaning solution for tanks that need attention without treating every situation as a full tank-entry project.

SERVICE 2

Fuel Sampling & Contamination Checks

Fuel contamination can develop long before equipment begins showing symptoms. Water, suspended particles, sludge, rust, sediment and microbial growth can restrict filters, strain pumps and compromise the equipment receiving the fuel.

JPS conducts visual fuel-sample inspections and can arrange laboratory analysis where required to help identify the concern and determine an appropriate next step.

SERVICE 3

Vacusonic Tank & Line Testing

Tanks and fuel lines can appear sound externally while leaks or weaknesses remain hidden. These concerns may only become noticeable after product loss, water ingress or operational disruption.

JPS provides Vacusonic testing to help assess the integrity of fuel-storage tanks and connected pipework. Pressure testing can also be performed on empty tanks and lines where appropriate, helping clients investigate suspected concerns and make informed commissioning or repair decisions.

SERVICE 4

Pump Repairs, Installations & Calibration

Fuel pumps influence dispensing accuracy, fuel control and the reliability of day-to-day operations. A pump may continue running while its flow, meter accuracy, hose, nozzle or internal components are already deteriorating.

JPS provides pump repairs, installations, calibration and component support to help maintain accurate dispensing and dependable fuel movement.

SERVICE 5

Product Filtration, Filters & Breathers

Blocked filters, neglected breathers and contaminated pump strainers can restrict fuel flow and place unnecessary strain on equipment.

JPS inspects, maintains and replaces filtration components and provides product-filtration support to help remove particles and suspended or microscopic water from stored fuel.

Tank Recommissioning & Decommissioning Support

An unused or neglected fuel tank should not be returned to service simply because it appears physically intact. Residual product, water, contamination, deteriorated fittings and uncertain tank or pipework integrity may create risk before new fuel is introduced.

JPS assists with tank-condition assessment, cleaning, testing requirements and practical preparation for recommissioning. Support is also available when a storage system needs to be responsibly taken out of service.

Fuel Storage Chain Breakdown

One Problem Can Move Through the Entire Fuel System.

The Symptom Is Not Always The Source: A blocked filter, inaccurate pump or contaminated sample may be the first visible warning. The original cause may sit much earlier inside the tank or stored fuel.

Select a stage in the fuel-storage chain to see how a weakness develops, where the operational risk appears and how we can intervene.

We Look Beyond The Component Showing The Fault.

The visible symptom is traced towards its likely source so the correct weak point – not merely the first fault encountered – can be addressed.
